Maite

In June 2015, Maite joined gAGE to collaborate in the group activities, giving support to the ongoing GNSS projects, specially in H2020 BELS project: ¨Building European links towards Asean Countries¨

Degree in Mathematics, specialty Astronomy and Geodesy from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2004 she obtained the DEA (Advanced Studies Diploma) assigned to doctoral programme: ¨Astrophysics and Atmospheric Sciences¨. She completed her training with postgraduate courses in spatial analysis at the University of Santiago de Compostela (2005) and Autonomous University of Barcelona (2013).

Since February 2011, she is working as a technology transfer and innovation consultant. From October 2012 to April 2013 she was participating in the "SPIRAL" project of Council of Europe (Strasbourg), as a member of the team of experts to implement the methodology and analysis of results.

Between May 2008 and October 2010, it joins to Ingenio Mathematica project (i-MATH). She is co-author of book i-MATH Map on demand for Mathematical Technology in Companies.
 
Before that , she was starting her doctoral studies at European Space Agency (ESA)  in the European Space Astronomy Center (ESAC, Madrid). Her research was focused in the study of “Ultraviolet variability of active galaxy Fairall 9 and 3C273 Quasar”.
 
Simultaneously she was half part time professor of Statistics at the Carlos III University for eight years and has taught courses at various professional sectors such as engineering.
