This course has been designed to develop the theoretical and practical aspects of satellite-based positioning and its applications, allowing understanding how GNSS work, itsprinciples, limitations, the difference between different processing positioning techniquesavailable. It is intended for both newcomers in the area of GNSS as well as a refresherfor University staff and professionals that have previous experience.
The GNSS course is based on the content of the book GNSS Data processing. Volume 1: Fundamentals and Algorithms and Volume 2: Laboratory Exercises, edited by the European Space Agency (ESA). Course materials such as theory and laboratory slides, as well as the software to run the practices (gLAB Tool suite) are provided within the course.
