Marc Casanovas
Marc Casanovas is currently pursuing an industrial PhD jointly with Albora Technologies and gAGE (the Astronomy and Geomatics research group) at UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) as a GNSS research engineer. He received the M.Sc. degree in Aerospace Engineering from UPC in 2021. He holds a B.Sc in aerospace systems engineering from UPC in 2019. He also has 2 years of experience as a GNSS system engineer within the SouthPAN project at GMV. His primary areas of interest are signal processing and robust PNT (jamming monitoring, multipath mitigation) for autonomous systems. He was awarded with the NewSpace Catalonia grant from Generalitat and IEEC (Institut d'Estudis Espacial de Catalunya) for attending the ISU SSP 2024 (International Space University - Space Studies Program) hosted at Rice University, Houston, TX. He has also been active in aerospace volunteering groups such as Cosmic Research and SGAC.
