Jing Tian

Jing Tian joined gAGE, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) on October 8, 2025, as a visiting Ph.D. candidate to pursue research on GNSS-enhanced positioning with Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites.

She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology at the School of Geological Engineering and Geomatics, Chang’an University, P. R. China. Her research focuses on precise orbit and clock determination and enhanced positioning using LEO satellites, particularly in complex landslide-prone environments. She obtained her B.S. degree in Geographic Information Science from Heilongjiang University of Engineering in June 2021. In September 2021, she began her graduate studies at Chang’an University, focusing on GNSS precise orbit and clock determination. She was later admitted to a successive postgraduate and doctoral program, continuing her studies as a  Ph.D. candidate at the same institution in September 2023.
