Kirolos Romany Anwar Kamel

Kirolos Romany Anwar Kamel is a Visiting PhD Candidate at gAGE/UPC since June 2026, where he works on real-time onboard orbit determination and time synchronization algorithms for LEO satellites. He has been collaborating with Telespazio and the Consortium for Research in Automation and Telecommunications (CRAT) at Sapienza University of Rome since 2024. His research interests include modeling and control techniques for satellite systems and space applications. He received his B.S. degree in Computer and Control Engineering in 2022 and his M.S. degree in Control Engineering in 2024, both from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. He also received a Short Master's degree in Management of Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial Network Infrastructures from Politecnico di Bari.
