In March 2010, Adrià Rovira Garcia obtained the Aerospace Engineering degree at Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeries Industrial i Aeronàutica de Terrassa (ETSEIAT)a faculty which belongs to the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC).

In February 2009, Adrià joined gAGE to collaborate in the development of the ESA Educational GNSS Laboratory Tool (gLAB). Afterwards, he developed his end of degree project titled "Design, implementation and testing of GPS data processing modules for GNSS navigation" (PFC).

Since  September 2010 he started actively working in the development of Ground Based Augmentation Systems (GBAS) algorithms for the PROMETEO project funded by the Spanish Centre for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), which aims a GBAS-deployable navigation solution to allow fire-fighting air fleets to operate safely during night conditions.

The European Space Agency granted Adrià with a Networking Partnering Initiative PhD. co-sponsorization fellowship together with the industrial partner FUGRO. The research plan was approved in July 2013 by the Doctoral Program in Aerospace Science and Technology (DOCTA). Adria's research is focussed in enhanced algorithms related with the real-time Fast-PPP technique.
