The objective of the project proposal is to develop an “Radio Frequency Site Environment Survey and Monitoring System ” (RF SESMS) capable to support the monitoring, characterization and modelling of RF environment potentially for consideration into future station equipment specifications but also to support the impact of RF environment on sensor station design and performances. Special focus is given to the following three main environment impairments: interference, multipath and ionosphere/scintillations.
